We are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to drive growth for KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions (MTS) business in Germany. Working as part of an expanding European team, you will play a key role in identifying and shaping new opportunities, building strategic relationships, and positioning our organisation as a trusted partner to the Bundeswehr and wider defence community.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the German defence market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government, military and industry stakeholders
- Lead and support bid activity, from early positioning through to proposal submission
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and upcoming programmes
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
What we Need
- Extensive experience within the military / defence sector
- Proven experience in business development within the German defence sector
- Experience preferable within at least one area of MTS’s portfolio, such as logistics, sustainment, autonomy and/or air and missile defence
- Strong network across the Bundeswehr and defence industry
- Experience contributing to or leading bids and proposals
- Fluent in German and working level proficiency in English
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of an extended team

- Germany based (hybrid with travel across the country)
