KBR is delivering some of the world's most complex and challenging engineering projects—and we're looking for a Lead Technical Safety Engineer to join our Leatherhead team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- As part of a project team, perform all aspects of Technical Safety scope area, or provide specialist expertise in one or more key project areas.
- May supervise and lead the Technical Safety team: provide technical direction over a group with responsibility for employee performance appraisals and for coaching and developing lower-level professionals.
- With appropriate experience, lead the project Technical Safety team.
Skills and Experience
- Skills gained through undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including final year design projects and any work placements.
- Expert level understanding of one or more areas of Technical Safety scope.
- Able to check and confirm completeness of deliverables including safety layouts and reports.
Educational Experience
- BEng or equivalent in science or engineering (typically Chemical Engineering).
- Masters degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering or Process Safety preferred).
- Chartered Engineer: membership of an accredited Institution.
