We're looking for an experienced Zscaler Administrator to join our growing UK team and play a key role in supporting and enhancing our enterprise Zero Trust security platform. If you're passionate about secure access technologies, cloud networking, cybersecurity, and solving complex technical challenges, this is an exciting opportunity to work within a large-scale, highly regulated environment while enjoying the flexibility of a remote role.
As our Zscaler Administrator, you'll be responsible for maintaining, optimising, and evolving our Zscaler environment to ensure secure, reliable access to applications, cloud services, and internet resources across the business.
You Will:
- Administer and optimise Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) platforms
- Manage policies, access controls, application segments, authentication integrations, and traffic forwarding
- Support and troubleshoot Zscaler Client Connector, App Connectors, and cloud-based connectivity services
- Work closely with cybersecurity, cloud, network, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve complex issues
- Support onboarding and segmentation of business applications within the ZPA environment
- Monitor platform performance, availability, security events, and user experience
- Contribute to automation initiatives using technologies such as PowerShell, Python, Terraform, and APIs
- Assist with incident response, vulnerability remediation, risk assessments, and continuous service improvement
- Produce technical documentation, operational reporting, and platform metrics
What We're Looking For:
We're interested in candidates who have:
- Strong hands-on experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
- Experience managing Zscaler policies, authentication, application segmentation, and secure access controls
- Proven troubleshooting skills across access, identity, networking, and cloud connectivity issues
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure networking and infrastructure services
- Experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, certificates, and authentication services
- A solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts including routing, firewalls, proxies, VPNs, and network security
- Experience working within structured IT service management and change control environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desirable Experience:
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO
- Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Splunk, or SIEM platforms
- Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX)
- Cloud security and Zero Trust architectures
- PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or automation tooling
- Palo Alto, Cisco, F5, or similar enterprise networking technologies
- Microsoft Intune and endpoint security solutions
- Supporting highly regulated or security-conscious environments
Certifications:
Relevant certifications are desirable, including:
- Zscaler Certified Administrator (ZCA)
- Zscaler Certified Engineer (ZCE)
- Microsoft Azure certifications
- Security+ or CCNA
- Equivalent industry-recognised qualifications
Location & Security Requirements:
Remote-based role within the United Kingdom. Occasional travel to our Surrey-area office may be required. UK citizenship is required. Candidates must be eligible to obtain or hold BPSS clearance.
