We are seeking an experienced Programme Performance Lead to support the delivery and performance management of a major infrastructure programme within a highly regulated environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing programme performance, monitoring key milestones, identifying programme-level issues, and supporting financial planning and reporting activities. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help ensure effective governance, accurate forecasting, and robust performance reporting across a complex portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and oversee performance across a major works programme.
  • Review programme reporting to identify trends, risks, issues, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead programme baseline and milestone reviews, tracking progress and project completion.
  • Identify programme-level risks and issues and work collaboratively to develop effective solutions.
  • Manage programme financial activities, including forecasting, funding requirements, approvals, and reporting.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of programme performance and governance processes.
  • Prepare and coordinate documentation for programme review meetings and management forums.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and effective programme reporting.
  • Provide support and guidance within the wider programme performance team.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience in programme management, programme controls, or governance environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Experience managing programme performance reporting, forecasting, or financial governance processes is highly desirable.
