KBR has developed and implemented an innovative, cost-effective solution for the strategic management of estates and facilities services. The Estates Intelligence model and our 6A methodology—Aggregation, Automation, Asset Management, Assurance, Audit, and Analytics—enable strategic management of estates and facilities services, which is an evolving model in the FM market.
As part of the ongoing growth of its Estates Intelligence, KBR is actively recruiting to expand its team to deliver current and future public sector Estates Intelligence contracts.
The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will report to the Business Intelligence Product Manager and be part of the Estates Intelligence BI team. This team supports multiple projects and understands estates and facilities challenges and opportunities. The BI Analyst will work across various projects, analyzing data from project-specific transactional systems, focusing on supply chain performance, estate compliance, asset management, and estates costs. They should be capable of producing dashboards according to standards and understand the importance of data preparation and accuracy.
The role involves investigating data to identify issues, trends, and underlying causes, including discovering potential concerns before clients are aware. The BI Analyst will utilize available tools and emerging technologies to develop solutions for clients and stakeholders with a proactive approach. Knowledge of data streams linked to Power BI and the measures and calculations needed to create insightful dashboards is essential.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven analytical skills and experience in producing client reports from data.
- Experience with Power BI Desktop & Service, including knowledge of Fabric features such as Data Engineering, Factory, & Science.
- Good understanding of SQL.
- Eligible for security clearance.
- Familiarity with Power suite.
- Experience with ML languages and practices.
- Ability to author technical specifications.
- Experience with estate management reporting in similar environments.
- Knowledge of Concept Evolution or other CAFM systems.
- Experience in a facilities management role.
The role is hybrid, based in Swindon (3 days/week) with WFH options.
