Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
We are looking to recruit a Lead Structural Designer on a 10-month contract, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

- Hybrid working; 3 days in office, 2 days from home

Purpose of the Role:
To support the lead engineer, liaising with other disciplines, clients, and vendors, and coordinating and working with project team members across global offices to deliver the tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.
Skills / Experience:
- Civil and Structural Designer with formal qualifications
- Minimum experience of 10 years
- Proficient in the use of Smart Plant 3D and able to provide advice/guidance to junior designers
- Ability to manage a team of designers located overseas
- Creation of project-specific job notes, guides, and training material to support consistent deliverables
- Organising schedules and resources within the team to achieve required deliverables to project deadlines
- Breaking project tasks down to drawing level and estimating resources required to complete milestones
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Work efficiently and effectively in identifying priorities and be agile in addressing emerging urgent issues as they arise
- Work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Work in an office-based role
