Our Integrated Solutions International (ISI) team are seeking talented graduate engineers to join our elite engineering team. What would you be doing?
As a Graduate Control Systems Engineer, you’ll be part of a team that delivers instrumentation and control system solutions across a wide range of industries. Our Control Systems Engineering (CSE) team is responsible for designing the control and safety systems that meet the complex and evolving needs of our clients. From selecting the right instrumentation to applying effective process control strategies, we focus on delivering reliable and efficient solutions.
As part of our structured 2‑year graduate training programme, you will gain practical experience and develop key skills in:
- Assessing process designs to determine the most effective control strategies
- Choosing the right instruments to ensure accurate and dependable measurements
- Configuring control devices that enable safe and efficient plant operations
- Deploying control systems that enhance performance and reliability
- Integrating safety features into every stage of the system design

What does the scheme involve?
The graduate scheme at KBR is designed to teach and support new professionals. You will receive the latest training and tools to further your skills and become an integral part of our thriving team. The graduate programme is accredited by the IET, and our established mentor scheme will provide guidance and support on your journey towards chartership. Over the 2‑year scheme, you will gain experience on a variety of projects as you rotate across different clients. There could be opportunities to work in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas.

What will you do?
As part of our engineering team, you will be based at our offices in Leatherhead, Surrey. Your role will involve working on and contributing to various projects at different stages. Through different rotations, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain a wide range of experience. Additionally, you may have the chance to work overseas at one of our other offices in locations such as Baku and Chennai.

Our Selection Process
Our Graduate selection journey begins with an in‑depth review of candidate applications, followed by shortlisting through phone screening, and concluding with an in‑person Assessment Day at our Leatherhead offices. During our Assessment Days, you will participate in a fun group activity with other candidates, deliver your own pre‑prepared presentation and one‑on‑one interviews. Meeting you in person allows us to get to know you better and helps you to discover why KBR is a great place to work!
The planned timings for our Assessment Days are in February or March 2026. Due to the large number of applications we receive, we will likely not be reviewing applications and contacting you until early in the New Year so please bear with us.
