This role will play a key part in supporting business performance, financial planning, reporting, and strategic finance activities across the Globals organization. This role is ideally suited to an ambitious finance professional looking to broaden their FP&A, business partnering, and operational finance experience within a dynamic global business environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning & Forecasting
    • Support the monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes for STS Globals.
    • Assist in developing financial assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting mitigation actions.
    • Support preparation of monthly business performance reviews & financial reporting packs.
    • Analyze revenue, margin, EBITDA, headcount, backlog, and operational KPIs to support decision-making.
    • Provide variance analysis and clear commentary explaining business performance.
  • Business Performance & Reporting
    • Deliver insightful financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
    • Help develop and maintain dashboards, KPI reporting, and management reporting tools.
    • Translate financial data into concise and meaningful business insights.
    • Support continuous improvement of reporting processes, data quality, and financial transparency.
    • Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from STS Finance leadership.
    • Work closely with the Chennai finance support team to enhance reporting consistency, improve processes, and drive greater alignment across the evolving STS Globals structure.
  • Business Partnering & Operational Support
    • Work closely with operational and finance stakeholders across the Globals organization.
    • Support commercial and operational initiatives through financial analysis and modelling.
    • Assist leadership teams in understanding the financial implications of business decisions.
    • Support evaluation of business performance drivers and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Transformation & Strategic Support
    • Support finance activities associated with the STS separation and spin process.
    • Assist with organizational, reporting, and financial transition activities as required.
    • Contribute to strategic projects and ad hoc initiatives led by the STS CFO organization.
    • Support ongoing finance transformation initiatives focused on standardization, reporting optimization, and improved collaboration between regional and offshore finance support teams.
    • Provide flexible support across a broad range of finance and operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Business & Analytical Skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
    • Good commercial awareness and business acumen.
    • Ability to interpret financial information and communicate key insights clearly.
    • Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple sources of information.
    • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong Excel and financial modelling capability.
    • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
    • Familiarity with Power BI and dashboard reporting tools is preferred.
    • Exposure to enterprise financial systems such as EPM, FCCS, SAP, or similar systems is advantageous.
    • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Communication & Collaboration
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively across finance and operational teams.
    • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders across multiple functions and regions.
    • Positive, flexible, and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
    • Professionally qualified or working toward a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) preferred.
    • A relevant number of years of experience in finance, FP&A, or business partnering.
    • Experience within project-based, engineering, consulting, or professional services industries is advantageous.
