About the Role

As a Risk Manager, you’ll take ownership of the risk function across the full project lifecycle. You’ll proactively identify, analyse and manage risks to ensure the programme remains on track and achieves its objectives. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, applying robust risk management practices and driving continuous improvement in how risk is understood, tracked and mitigated.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • You’ll lead the implementation and continuous improvement of risk management processes across the programme, ensuring risks and opportunities are clearly identified, analysed and actively managed.
  • You’ll chair regular reviews, produce insightful reporting, and work closely with delivery teams to maintain accurate risk registers, track mitigation actions and support data-driven decision-making.
  • In a complex and fast-paced environment, you’ll provide strategic oversight of risk while collaborating with stakeholders to minimise impact on delivery timelines, costs and outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong knowledge of risk management processes and frameworks.
  • Ability to analyse complex data and develop a clear, strategic view of risk.
  • Experience identifying trends and translating insight into action.
  • Proven organisational and leadership capability.
  • Background in risk management within infrastructure or major projects.
  • Strong IT and reporting skills.

Location

The role is Hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent in the office in Glasgow City Centre.
