Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
We are seeking a Hull Engineer for a 6-month assignment, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.
On Offer:
- Competitive hourly pay rate
- Working 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Key Responsibilities / Skills:
- Offshore / Hull / Naval Architect / Structural Engineer with a minimum experience of 10 years
- Excellent technical and practical engineering skills with an ability to consistently deliver quality, accurately and on schedule
- Under general supervision, be responsible for performing global and partial analysis of FPSO hull structures, carrying out design of scantlings, bulkheads, living quarters and topside module support stools
- Detailed knowledge of SESAM Genie is required as well as previous experience of using Nauticus Hull
- Knowledge of latest revisions of DNV Rules and standards & NORSOK codes is a must
- Previous experience of working on FPSO hulls in harsh water environments is necessary
- Knowledge of undertaking stochastic fatigue analysis to DNV standards is an advantage
- Recent Equinor experience would be an advantage
