Programme Performance Lead
We are seeking an experienced Programme Performance Lead to support the delivery and performance management of a major infrastructure programme within a highly regulated environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing programme performance, monitoring key milestones, identifying programme‑level issues, and supporting financial planning and reporting activities.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help ensure effective governance, accurate forecasting, and robust performance reporting across a complex portfolio of projects.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and oversee performance across a major works programme.
- Review programme reporting to identify trends, risks, issues, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead programme baseline and milestone reviews, tracking progress and project completion.
- Identify programme-level risks and issues and work collaboratively to develop effective solutions.
- Manage programme financial activities, including forecasting, funding requirements, approvals, and reporting.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of programme performance and governance processes.
- Prepare and coordinate documentation for programme review meetings and management forums.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and effective programme reporting.
- Provide support and guidance within the wider programme performance team.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience in programme management, programme controls, or governance environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Experience managing programme performance reporting, forecasting, or financial governance processes is highly desirable.
