About The Role

You will join a specialist engineering team supporting the safety and performance of critical infrastructure within a highly regulated environment.

This role offers primarily remote working, with occasional site visits as required to support project delivery.

You’ll apply your expertise in structural integrity and stress analysis to ensure systems and structures remain safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical assurance through detailed stress analysis of structural components, assessing their integrity under a range of static and dynamic loading conditions.
  • Perform fatigue and structural assessments for reinforced concrete and steel structures, considering factors such as ageing and degradation.
  • Develop and review load cases, contribute to safety case documentation and studies (including HAZID and HAZOP).
  • Ensure all work aligns with strict regulatory and safety requirements while maintaining a strong safety and security culture.
  • Required Experience
  • Proven experience in stress analysis and structural integrity assessment.
  • Experience analysing structures under static and dynamic loads (e. g. seismic, blast, thermal, environmental).
  • Strong capability with analytical and/or numerical methods (e. g. finite element analysis).
  • Experience producing technical justification in high-hazard or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards such as Eurocodes, BS, ASME.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise your own workload effectively.
  • Security Requirements

Security Check (SC) Clearance – You must be eligible to obtain and maintain this level of clearance.

Location

This role is remote with occasional site visits. Your own transport is essential.
