About The Role
The Utilities Integration role is based on our client site and is responsible for leading stakeholder engagement and management for utility services (power, water, and communications). The role ensures effective integration among client stakeholders by systematically identifying and analysing stakeholders, planning and conducting interactions to engage and communicate with them, and considering their levels of influence and specific interests. This position will ensure stakeholder involvement throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Role Expectations
- Lead utilities-focused stakeholder analysis using appropriate tools in conjunction with other project utility leads, and provide advice on the most appropriate communication channel for each stakeholder group in area of responsibility.
- Develop the profile by working with the project to understand and map the changing needs of the project against utility stakeholder influence and involvement.
- Support the development of the stakeholder profile throughout the project, providing or populating standard templates where necessary and recording outcomes from analysis.
- Act as the utility stakeholder lead between projects to enable integration ensuring regulatory, compliance and base process requirements are met.
- Ensure proposed surveys, temporary diversions, disconnections and new service connections for each phase of the programme include client lead engagement at all stages and are effectively communicated in ample time at relevant forums and approval boards.
- Ensure potential risks are captured and recorded with development of appropriate mitigation actions.
Who Do We Need
- A working knowledge of utilities or utility stakeholder management within a project delivery environment would be highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience of project management level stakeholder management and engagement, ideally in a government project delivery environment.
Location
The role is hybrid: 3 days per week will be spent on the client site in Helensburgh.
