About the RoleYou will be part of a major programmes and projects function responsible for the delivery of largeâscale capital infrastructure projects, acquisitions and disposals, both in the UK and overseas. You will provide subjectâmatter expertise throughout the lifecycle of programmes and projects, from early development through to delivery, and support complex projects operating in highly regulated sectors, including those with nuclear considerations.
As Project Lead Engineer, you will work within an engineering assurance team, supporting the technical assurance of both onshore and marine systems across major infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in the replacement and refurbishment of structures, plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with modern standards, regulations and best practice within a highly regulated environment.
Essential ExperienceYou will have:
- Strong knowledge and experience of civil and structural engineering.
- Experience designing and assessing industrial steel and reinforced concrete structures.
- Knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes.
- Knowledge of UK nuclear regulation and relevant good practice.
- Experience across concept design, detailed design and construction phases within heavy industrial and/or maritime environments.
- Experience working within the UK nuclear industry (energy or defence), particularly on safetyârelated structures, systems and components.
- Proven experience delivering engineering work packages within a highly regulated environment.
Degree in Civil, Structural or a related engineering discipline.
LocationThe role is Hybrid.
