The predicted salary is between 55000 - 70000 £ per year.

Location: Bristol (or any UK FNC office). Salary: £55,000 to £70,000 per annum depending on experience. Working pattern: flexible hybrid – time split between office, client sites and working from home. Closing date: 30th June 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project execution and provide business development and managerial support aligned with the company’s strategy.
  • Direct and coordinate contributions from technical staff across all levels within bid and project teams.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert in at least one core WOME skill area.
  • Produce high‑quality technical documentation, including WOME‑specific safety assurance artefacts.
  • Support the development of junior members within the Weapons, Safety & Assurance team.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience working within the weapons industry and/or the wider UK regulated defence sector, supporting the WOME enterprise.
  • Excellent communication, client‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good knowledge of WOME Standards, Policies and Regulations.
  • Knowledge of OME certification, qualification, S3, platform integration, test and evaluation.
  • Experience applying safety analysis techniques, including Hazard Identification and Analysis, risk management and ALARP assessments.
  • Familiarity with Weapons Technical Assurance/Governance.
  • Professional engineering status.
  • Clearance: candidates must be able to satisfy UK National Security Vetting clearance criteria.
