Role Summary

Frazer-Nash is seeking two experienced Senior Defence Leaders in Maritime or Aerospace to drive delivery of complex high‐value programmes for strategic defence clients. The role supports business development, bid management, project leadership, engineering strategy, and executive stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

  • Support business development activities with Business Managers to build services and market presence.
  • Manage bids, directing work on bids by technical staff at all levels.
  • Lead and manage large and/or complex projects across the defence domain sector.
  • Provide engineering leadership, define strategies for live projects, and support junior engineers.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Visionary and delivery‐focused with extensive experience in defence aerospace or maritime.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influence at executive level.
  • Experience with air programmes such as GCAP, Typhoon, P‐8 UAS, advanced autonomous technologies.
  • Experience with submarine programmes such as Dreadnought or SSNA.
  • Exposure to ship/air integration or maritime aviation operations.
  • Background in high‐pressure operational delivery environments and major UK defence OEMs.
  • Experience shaping defence policy, strategy, or capability planning.

Requirements

Must be able to undergo pre‐employment screening and satisfy UK National Security Vetting clearance criteria.
