We’re growing our Materials Performance team to support some of the UK’s most important defence programmes. This role is designed for an early‑stage professional wishing to develop hazardous materials expertise, take on meaningful projects, and accelerate career growth within a highly regulated engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Materials regulations & compliance: learn how REACH, RoHS and similar regulations apply in real engineering projects.
- Hazardous materials management: understand how materials are controlled safely across an asset’s lifecycle.
- Materials assurance activities: help assess compliance with regulations, client policies, and internal standards.
- Environmental and safety considerations: support decisions that protect people and the environment.
- Technical evidence: contribute to clear, well‑structured documentation that justifies engineering decisions.
What you’ll be doing day‑to‑day
- Support technical work on materials compliance and assurance tasks, learning to approach problems in a structured, evidence‑led way.
- Assist in developing and reviewing compliance processes and documentation.

Due to the nature of the work Frazer‑Nash undertakes, candidates will be required to undergo pre‑employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
