We are currently seeking experienced Aerospace Assurance and Certification Consultants to undertake challenging and interesting work that improves safety and sustainability worldwide. This role offers you the chance to bid for, win, work on, and manage a diverse portfolio of aerospace projects. Working within a consultancy environment offers the chance to experience a wide variety of projects and you'll be expected to bid for, win, work on, and manage projects, as well as work with and manage people and clients. You will develop a portfolio of project deliveries, hone your consultancy skills and help develop more junior engineers and graduates.
Essential Requirements:
- Sound engineering experience across multiple disciplines.
- Experience managing technical delivery within programmes under the guidance of a senior consultant.
- Practitioner in initial or continuing airworthiness.
- Experience leading engineering teams as senior NCO, engineering officer or civilian equivalent.
- Qualified to Chartered Engineer level or working towards it.
- Demonstrable technical experience in a Systems Engineering environment within the aerospace industry, including certification requirements and compliance, requirements management, safety and assurance, test and acceptance.
- Clear customer‐focused attitude.
- Understanding of different air‐safety aspects of an air system's life cycle.
Desirable Requirements:
- First degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience working within a Delivery Team or Defence Equipment & Support Front‐line Engineering.
- Experience on a Squadron or similar auditor role.
- Previous/current experience as an engineering consultant.
