An exciting opportunity is available for an Accounts Trainee to join a growing team in Orpington. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their career in accountancy while working towards an ACCA or ACA qualification. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members to deliver a broad range of accountancy services to business clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing year-end statutory accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, LLPs, and Limited Companies.
- Support in preparing corporation tax returns and VAT returns.
- Perform accounts and bookkeeping tasks as required.
- Collaborate with different departments to provide financial services to clients.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and professional standards.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Studying or planning to study AAT qualification.
- Some experience in an accounting practice is desirable.
- Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills.
- Professional communication skills (email, phone, and face-to-face).
- Full UK driving licence (preferred for client visits).
- Knowledge of CCH, Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero (desirable).
