Our client is seeking a meticulous and motivated Account Assistant to join their team in Chessington. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about accounting and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support in preparing financial statements and reports.
– Process invoices, receipts, and manage financial documentation.
– Assist with reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
– Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to company policies.
– Coordinate with various departments and handle queries as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
– A basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and Payroll
– High level of accuracy and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively
– Previous experience in an accounting role is advantageous but not essential
