KBM Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Trainee Fabricator Welder to join a well-established engineering company in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a bit of welding experience to develop further hands-on skills within a busy workshop environment. The Trainee will be responsible for fabricating and welding, in accordance with container specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MIG and MMA welding duties
- Assist with fabrication, fitting, and repair of steel components
- Operate workshop equipment including grinders, bandsaws, guillotines, cutting torches, overhead cranes, and hand tools
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company processes
- Work collaboratively within a team environment
- Support other workshop activities as required and participate in cross-training opportunities
Candidate Requirements
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous workshop or repair environment experience preferred but not essential
- No formal qualifications required
