The Role

As Health & Safety Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with UK space regulations and fostering a strong safety culture across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an effective Safety Management System (SMS) in compliance with SIR 2021 and SIA 2018.
  • Ensure all licensed activities and personnel comply with UK space safety regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and drive continuous improvement in HSE performance.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and international partners to ensure adherence to UK safety standards.
  • Review safety cases and implement health & safety policies across spaceport and support sites.
  • Deliver training programs and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.
  • Track and report health & safety performance to senior management.
