KBM are currently recruiting experienced MIG Welders for an immediate opportunity with one of our Engineering clients. This is a great opportunity for skilled welders looking for short-term contract work with an established company.
The Role
You will be working within a modern fabrication facility, carrying out MIG welding and structural steel fabrication. The work will involve the fabrication of structural steel components and assemblies to engineering drawings and specifications.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a MIG Welder / Fabricator Welder
- Experience working with structural steel
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Good understanding of welding and fabrication processes
- Ability to produce consistent, quality welds
- Relevant welding qualifications/certifications are advantageous
- CSCS/CCNSG or other relevant site qualifications are advantageous but not essential for workshop-based work
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
- Weld codings available for suitable candidates
