KBM Resourcing are recruiting for an experienced Service Technician (Onshore) to join a busy operations and workshop team in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance, servicing, repair and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery within the workshop and on client sites when required.
  • Perform diagnostics, fault finding and basic root cause analysis.
  • Complete pre-hire inspections and accurately record test results and maintenance documentation.
  • Support planned and reactive maintenance activities, including component replacement and refurbishment.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with company HSSEQ procedures.

Requirements

  • Recognised mechanical trade qualification (e.g. SVQ Level 3 Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering) or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Previous workshop and mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Experience working with equipment such as compressors, steam generators, power generators, diesel engines and well test packages is desirable.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and adaptable approach to work.
  • Previous client site experience is advantageous.
