A great opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well–established Offshore Energy company based in Aberdeen is now available. This will be a 6 month fixed–term contract which is office based Monday to Friday. Design experience working on subsea equipment is highly beneficial. You will be joining an established team who are winning regular contracts who require an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join them and hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Design and Draughting teams.
  • Design and develop subsea equipment.
  • Report to senior management teams.
  • Use design software.
  • Troubleshoot problems and devise solutions to resolve them.
  • Perform regular tests to determine how to improve components.
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements.
