Overview

An excellent opportunity is now available to join a Global Energy Company as a Manufacturing Engineer based in Glasgow. We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience working in a similar role who has strong knowledge of lean principles, production methods and quality. This role will suit someone who is both analytical and personable, as you will be liaising regularly with different departments within the company. It is important that you can hit the ground running in an experienced team.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of KPI\’s and drive performance improvements.
  • Lead corrective actions with teams.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across production and subcontract suppliers.
  • Oversee CAD drawings, technical documentation and work instructions.
  • Optimize line balancing and production flow to enhance efficiency and support NPI success.

Essential Skills / Experience

  • BSc in Engineering discipline
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing with lean principles, production methods and quality knowledge.
  • Mechanical assembly skillset.
  • Pro-efficient in CAD.
  • NPI processes with PFMEA experience.
  • Strong problem-solving experience.
