A great opportunity for an Engineering Lead to join an Engineering Solutions Company is now available based at their offices in Aberdeen. You will be working closely with the senior leadership team and must have experience in a similar role. An electrical background, preferably with containerised solutions is an important area you must have experience in to carry out this role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the engineering team, guiding them to meet key project deliverables, manage workloads and make sure issues are resolved.
  • Product design – work individually and part of a team designing containerised modular solutions and skid systems. Electrical design in pressurised cabins is desired.
  • Drawings: Production and engineering drawings including block diagrams, schematic diagrams, interconnection diagrams, termination diagrams, cable schedules and data sheets. The mentioned drawing package shall be inclusive of fire and gas systems.
  • Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues during project implementation and provide effective solutions.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • 5 years minimum of practical and supervisory experience in electrical project management, design or similar.
  • Proficiency in electrical system installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements.
