Internal Sales/Sales Estimator- Peterhead The Role Act as the main point of contact for key customers, handling enquiries and ensuring timely responses. The client is keen to have someone in this role that is confident and able to go out and meet clients face to face. Responsibilities * Review and assess customer enquiries- which could include Bills of Materials, Drawing, Customer Specifications or simple written descriptions and liaising with the customer where further information/clarification is required. * Provide customer with complaint quotation for part. * Sourcing of raw material (taking into account customer specification, if necessary). * Estimating machine times (in conjunction with Production Department). * Obtain quotes for additional testing/coatings. * Liaising with Production Department on estimated lead times. * Carry out contract review and create job package for parts to be issued to machine shop. * Ordering and allocating materials. * Creating job routings and producing simple drawings. * Keeping customers updated on job status/any delays. Requirements * Experience within a similar role. * Comfortable being client facing. * Strong attention to detail. * Experience/knowledge of machining/steel would be beneficial. Salary- 40-50K...
