KBM are currently recruiting for a Stores & Warehouse Operative to support the efficient day-to-day running of Stores, Warehouse and Yard operations with our client, based near Brechin. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys working in a team and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Stores area, ensuring adequate stock levels and accurate stock control
  • Receive goods into stores, checking deliveries against purchase orders
  • Issue parts to staff and ensure records are updated correctly on MS Navision
  • Work closely with the Purchasing Team to ensure timely ordering and receipt of stock
  • Maintain full traceability of stock parts, including implementing Min/Max stock levels
  • Carry out regular stock takes and support annual stock audits with the Finance team
  • Ensure Warehouse and Yard areas are kept organised, tidy and compliant
  • Oversee correct storage of equipment and maintain accurate warehouse location records
  • Ensure all booking-in processes are followed and documentation is correctly maintained
  • Act as a role model for Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and ESG standards
  • Promote and demonstrate safe working practices at all times
  • Live and model company values, contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace culture
  • Complete mandatory training relevant to the role
  • Undertake additional duties as required in line with business needs

Qualifications

  • National 5 pass in English and Maths (or equivalent)

Knowledge

  • Understanding of Stores operations
  • Knowledge of Goods In / Goods Out processes

Experience

  • Previous experience in a Stores or Warehouse role
