A great opportunity has become available for an Electrical Engineer Manager to join a Global Energy Engineering Company based in Glasgow. As the Electrical Engineer Manager, you will lead the Electrical Engineering team and be heavily involved in team development. This role will suit someone who has worked their way through the ranks as you will be contributing with hands on projects and setting examples, as well as managing a team. Responsibilities: * Lead and develop the Electrical Engineering team. * Drive the design and development of electrical systems to company standards. * Support the full product lifecycle. * Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to develop solutions that meet performance, cost and sustainability targets. * Co-ordinate closely with Management teams. * Lead reviews. * Develop and maintain technical documentation such as design specifications, system architecture and test plans. * Always adhere to all health and safety procedures. Essential: * Electrical or Electronic Engineering Degree or equivalent. * Proven technical experience within an Electrical role. * Proven managerial/ leadership experience. * Strong background in electrical design. * Proficiency in E-plan, Auto Cad or similar software. * Strong understanding of industry standards.
