A temporary opportunity has arisen for a Customer Support Administrator to join a busy and friendly team, with the possibility of the position becoming permanent. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career who has strong communication and organisational skills and is looking to build experience within customer service and administration.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting customers and the wider business, handling incoming enquiries, processing orders and invoices, preparing quotations, and ensuring customers receive accurate and timely updates.
Key responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls professionally and direct customers to the appropriate contact.
- Act as a first point of contact for customer queries and provide information and documentation, including copy invoices.
- Accurately input and process sales orders using internal systems.
- Prepare customer quotations.
- Track orders and provide customers with progress and delivery updates.
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments prior to shipment where required.
- Accurately process supplier invoices and investigate and resolve any associated queries.
- Maintain accurate records and provide general administrative support to the team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position. The successful candidate will also have a friendly and professional telephone manner, strong attention to detail, and confidence when working with numbers. They will be organised, reliable, and comfortable managing several tasks at once, particularly during busy periods.
