Assistant Quantity Surveyor in Carnoustie

A great opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor is now available to join a well-established Main Contractor based in Tayside. You will be joining a company who have built an excellent reputation across the industry on a variety of construction projects over many successful years. This role would suit an established Assistant QS, Graduate or Trainee who is ready to work/ assist on projects in a company’s small works department. Responsibilities: * Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. * Assist in the preparation of client valuations. * Arrange payments. * Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks. * Preparing and analysing costings for tenders. * Valuing of completed work. * Provide advice and forecasts of costs. * Liaise with Senior Quantity Surveyors and management. Education & Requirements: * Degree in Quantity Surveying or working towards. * Understanding of Quantity Surveying methods, ready to put knowledge into practice. * Knowledge of construction practices. * Computer literate. * Work well in a team and individually with a strong desire to learn.
