This is an excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer to join an award winning Remote Intervention company based in Aberdeenshire.
Focussing on Remote Intervention and ROV Tooling solutions, it is important that you will have previous experience in this product line.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment whilst developing and carrying out detailed designs and drawings for Remote Intervention Tooling concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Use 3D design software to produce concept models.
- Carry out engineering calculations and FEA studies.
- Produce technical documentations such as manuals.
- Carry out design and draughting work to international standards.
- Ensure all 3D Solidworks data is correctly stored and managed.
- Provide technical support to the project and operation team.
- Occasional offsite travel sometimes required to visit suppliers, client meetings etc.
Essential
- Previous ROV/ ROV Tooling design experience.
- Skilled in 2D/ 3D design packages.
- Mechanical tooling design experience from concept to completion.
- Comfortable working in a busy/ fast paced design Engineering role.
- Strong interpersonal skills – ability to also work independently.
