Our dedication to excellence and innovative thinking underpins everything we do. Guided by our mantra, “Difficult. About the role

We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Client Handler to join our KBIS team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with accuracy and efficiency. You’ll manage a variety of tasks, from handling enquiries to processing policy changes, all while delivering an outstanding client experience.

What you will be doing

  • Dealing with incoming customer service and sales calls
  • Producing and issuing quotations and new business documents
  • Processing mid-term adjustments, renewals, and cancellations
  • Managing your own workload in line with service level agreements and client expectations
  • Communicating with policyholders, brokers, and underwriters via phone, email, and written correspondence
  • Supporting complaints investigations and claim appeals

Who we are looking for

You’ll have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in insurance or financial services is desirable, but we welcome candidates with transferable skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You must also have existing equine experience or a strong passion for horses and the equestrian world—whether through previous work or as a hobby. It is highly desirable for you to have:

  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment in insurance
  • Experience handling client escalations and complex queries
  • Ability to train and support colleagues

What you will get

When you join SRG, you’re stepping into more than just a role, you’re becoming part of a team that backs your ambitions and celebrates your success. We’ll give you the space, support, and opportunities to grow your skills, explore new challenges, and shape a career you’re proud of. And because we believe great work should be rewarded, here’s what you can look forward to:

  • 25 days holiday plus an extra half-day off to celebrate your birthday month
  • Company pension scheme to help secure your future
  • Private medical cover for peace of mind
  • Life insurance, income protection and sick pay to support you when you need it
  • Charity and volunteering days so you can give back to causes you care about

We embrace new ideas, adapt to challenges, and celebrate shared success. We’re committed to making our recruitment process and workplace accessible to everyone.
