KBG Security is hiring SIA-licensed Door Supervisors to join our expanding team in Stone, Staffordshire. This role involves maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming atmosphere at local nightlife venues including pubs and bars. You will be responsible for controlling access, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, managing challenging behaviour, and supporting both patrons and venue staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Access Control & Screening
    • Manage entry and exit points professionally
    • Check IDs and perform searches as required by venue policy and licensing regulations
    • Maintain consistent and respectful screening procedures
  • Security & Incident Response
    • Monitor for and deter antisocial or disruptive behaviour
    • Deal with incidents professionally and safely, using de-escalation techniques where appropriate
    • Support ejections and removals in line with company protocols and licensing law
  • Reporting & Compliance
    • Adhere to venue policies and local licensing conditions
    • Complete incident reports and maintain clear shift records
    • Assist in ensuring venue capacity and safety standards are met
  • Communication & Teamwork
    • Work in coordination with other security staff, venue management, and emergency services
    • Maintain clear and professional communication during all incidents
  • Customer Interaction
    • Provide a visible and reassuring security presence
    • Engage with patrons in a respectful and friendly manner
    • Promote a positive experience for all guests while upholding venue rules
  • Shifts & Availability
    • Evening and night shifts, primarily on Fridays and Saturdays
    • Additional weekday shifts may be available during busy periods or special events
    • Part-time hours based on venue requirements

Requirements

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • Previous experience working in pubs, bars, or licensed nightlife venues
  • Excellent communication and conflict management skills
  • Punctual, reliable, and presentable
  • Available to work every Friday and Saturday, unless two weeks' notice is given

Desirable

  • First Aid certification or willingness to complete training
  • Experience completing shift logs or incident reports
  • Familiarity with local licensing and venue compliance requirements
