SIA Door Supervisor

KBG Security Solutions is recruiting a strong team of experienced SIA Door Supervisors.

We are looking for experienced professionals who genuinely understand the responsibilities of a Door Supervisor, know how to manage a busy night-time economy environment, and can become part of a reliable, professional venue team.

We have ongoing positions with regular weekly work. Applicants must be able to travel reliably to and from venues, including after the venue closes (anytime between 11pm-4am).

We are specifically looking for Door Supervisors who:

• Have genuine experience working in pubs, clubs, bars or other night-time economy venues
• Understand that the DS role is about safety, customer service, communication and early intervention
• Can identify potential problems before they escalation
• Are confident dealing with conflict and challenging situations
• Know how to communicate professionally with customers and venue management
• Can work effectively as part of a security team
• Understand entry procedures, searches, refusals and Challenge 25
• Are comfortable managing busy periods, queues and intoxicated customers
• Can remain calm and professional under pressure
• Take pride in their appearance, conduct and performance
• Turn up on time and can be relied upon every week

We want people who are proactive, switched on and confident in the Door Supervisor role.

If your approach is simply to arrive, stand in one position and wait for the shift to finish, this is unlikely to be the right position for you.

You must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and have the legal right to work in the UK.

Previous night-time economy experience is strongly preferred for this particular venue.
