Our client is looking for a talented DevOps Engineering Tech Lead to join their team in Sheffield. This is a hands-on leadership role, working with OpenShift, Ansible, Python, and container technologies to deliver scalable DevOps solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and manage OpenShift Container Platform Virtualization (OCPV) environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible.
- Write and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and integration tasks.
- Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and application teams to deliver scalable and robust solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OCPV, Ansible playbooks, and Python automation.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with OpenShift Container Platform Virtualization (OCPV).
- Expertise in Ansible (playbooks, roles) and Ansible Tower.
- Strong Python programming skills for automation and scripting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking.
