We’re hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced GCP DevOps / Platform Engineer to join a growing cloud engineering team delivering modern, scalable, and secure solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud-native platforms, AI/ML enablement with Vertex AI, and enterprise-grade DevOps practices in a highly collaborative environment.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines that power advanced analytics and AI workloads. You’ll work closely with engineering, data, and security teams to deliver reliable and secure cloud services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and managing GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable releases
- Deploying and integrating Vertex AI components for ML/AI solutions
- Managing GKE (Kubernetes) clusters in production environments
- Supporting BigQuery, Cloud Build, Harness, and related cloud services
- Automating operational tasks to remove toil and improve reliability
- Implementing cloud security, networking, and governance best practices
- Writing and maintaining scripts and tooling to support platform engineering
What we’re looking for
- Certifications and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong DevOps mindset with experience in Terraform, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps (or similar)
- Solid coding/scripting skills in Python, Groovy, Bash, or PowerShell
- Proven experience with Vertex AI integration and deployment
- Experience with GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Build, Harness
- Strong understanding of cloud security and networking concepts
- Experience developing for or administering Kubernetes clusters in production
- Passion for automation and continuous improvement
Nice to have
- Experience supporting AI/ML or data engineering workloads
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools
