We are currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Consultant to support a secure enterprise environment, focusing on Windows and Linux/Unix server hardening. Role Summary
You will be responsible for securing servers—primarily Linux/Unix, with some Windows—by applying approved hardening standards. The role involves a mix of manual configuration, script execution, and technical documentation, ensuring systems comply with defined security baselines.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply predefined hardening configurations across Linux/Unix and Windows servers
- Log into servers to perform manual changes in line with MCS 2.0 hardening standards (minimum configuration settings as advised by VF3)
- Execute existing Shell and PowerShell scripts to support configuration tasks
- Accurately document all changes and configurations
- Identify, troubleshoot, and elevate issues where required
