Are you passionate about AI-assisted software delivery, platform engineering, and cloud modernization? We're looking for an Agentic Engineering Lead to drive a large-scale AWS-to-Azure migration while building the engineering harness that enables AI agents to deliver reliable, high-quality code.

Role Overview: You will lead a high-performing engineering pod responsible for migrating AWS Lambda-based applications to Azure. Inspired by OpenAI's Harness Engineering approach, your primary focus will be designing the scaffolding, guardrails, and feedback loops that allow Claude Code agents to work effectively at scale. This is a player-coach role:

  • 70% Harness & Platform Engineering
  • 30% Technical Leadership & Team Enablement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the claude_code_forge scaffolding, repository structures, CLAUDE.md specifications, agent configurations, MCP tools, and custom slash commands
  • Break down AWS migration programs into well-defined, agent-executable work packages
  • Build automated architectural guardrails through testing, linting, dependency checks, and CI/CD enforcement
  • Drive codebase quality and coherence through ongoing entropy-management practices
  • Mentor engineers on: Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cowork workflows, Prompt-driven TDD, Multi-agent orchestration
  • Track and report migration progress, agent utilization, delivery risks, and stakeholder updates

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6–8 years of software engineering experience
  • 2+ years leading engineering teams or technical delivery
  • Strong AWS and Azure serverless expertise, including: AWS Lambda → Azure Functions, DynamoDB → Cosmos DB, Step Functions → Durable Functions
  • Hands-on experience with: Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cowork, Agentic development workflows
  • Strong background in: Platform Engineering, Developer Tooling, CI/CD Pipelines, DevOps Automation, Software Architecture Governance
