About the Role
As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you’ll work within cross-functional feature teams to deliver modern, accessible, and scalable front-end solutions. This is a hands-on role where you’ll influence technical direction, champion best practices, and mentor fellow engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead frontend development with a strong focus on quality, scalability, and performance
- Build accessible, user-friendly interfaces aligned with WCAG standards
- Drive a test-first (TDD) approach and ensure high test coverage
- Take technical ownership of features and contribute to architectural decisions
- Mentor and support other engineers within the team
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in React and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proven track record building accessible, scalable, and testable UI applications
- Hands-on experience with JestJS and modern frontend testing practices
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and tools like axe-core
- Experience operating at a Senior level with ownership and leadership responsibilities
Desirable (Nice to Have)
- Backend experience with Java / Quarkus
- Familiarity with REST APIs and PostgreSQL
- Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes)
