We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst / Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Subject Matter Expert to join a critical cybersecurity function within a leading organisation. This role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimising enterprise-wide DLP capabilities, ensuring robust data protection across cloud, endpoint, email, and network environments.
The successful candidate will serve as the technical authority for DLP, providing strategic guidance and hands-on expertise in solution architecture, policy configuration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, deployment, and optimisation of DLP solutions across the enterprise
- Act as the SME for Microsoft Purview DLP and Zscaler DLP across multiple data channels
- Develop, implement, and refine DLP policies aligned with organisational data protection requirements
- Collaborate with security architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure best-practice implementation
- Conduct detailed analysis and tuning to minimise false positives and enhance detection accuracy
- Partner with SOC and Cyber Operations teams to support incident response, investigation, and remediation
- Drive DLP governance, reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks and architectural designs
- Proven experience in a senior DLP or data protection role
- Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Purview DLP, including policy management, endpoint DLP, and cloud integrations
- Extensive experience with Zscaler DLP, including policy configuration and SaaS data flow analysis
- Solid understanding of enterprise data flows, cloud security architectures, and data classification frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex DLP scenarios across multiple platforms
