We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to support the application implementation. The DBA will be responsible for end-to-end database support activities throughout the project lifecycle, including environment refreshes, performance tuning, Go-Live support, and BAU handover. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in managing multiple database environments and close collaboration with application, infrastructure, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Lifecycle & Environment Support
- Perform multiple iterations of database refreshes from Production to lower environments
- Provide DBA support for all issues identified during refresh and upgrade activities.
- Database Administration
- Manage and support databases and migrations
- Troubleshoot and resolve:
- Database environment and connectivity issues
- Parameter configuration issues
- Schema and instance-related issues across environments
- Support application and database performance tuning activities.
- Generate and analyze:
- Trace files
- AWR (Automatic Workload Repository) reports
- Database performance optimization
- Database storage planning and sizing
- Provide Go-Live planning and consultancy inputs.
- Ensure DBA resource availability during cut-over and Go-Live weekend.
- Execute production readiness checks and ensure database stability during Go-Live.
- Perform knowledge transfer (KT) and handover to BAU Operations DBA teams.
- Support early life stabilization post Go-Live.
- Share Mobile Cramer schema dumps with the project teams as required.
- Perform multiple database restarts during project activities.
- Create required directories, handle file uploads, and share logs with stakeholders.

- Strong hands-on experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) in large enterprise environments
- Proven experience supporting multiple database instances across environments
- Expertise in:
- Database refreshes and cloning
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting
- AWR and trace analysis
