Our client is a leading global Information Technology, Consulting, and Business Process Services organisation, working at enterprise scale across complex, mission-critical environments. They are currently seeking an experienced Network Security Architect to join their team and play a key role in shaping and delivering modern, secure network architectures.
Role Overview
As a Network Security Architect, you will support and lead security deployments and infrastructure design across large enterprise environments. The role has a strong focus on Zero Trust architecture, cloud security, and automation-driven deployments. This position requires a broad enterprise mindset, with strong depth in network and security technologies and a solid understanding of end-to-end solutions, including areas beyond traditional network/security domains. You will collaborate closely with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, and DevSecOps teams to embed security by design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support enterprise-scale network security architectures
- Assist with security deployments and infrastructure design from concept through implementation
- Architect and implement Zero Trust security models aligned with industry best practices
- Lead and support projects using Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) for secure access and cloud security
- Design and secure hybrid and cloud environments, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Implement and manage network security solutions using Palo Alto, Check Point, and NSX-T firewalls
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to integrate security into system designs
- Support, review, and assist with CI/CD-driven deployments using GitLab
- Read, understand, and review deployment code and automation scripts to ensure secure implementation
- Produce architecture documentation, standards, and design artefacts
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple projects
