We are seeking an experienced and passionate DevOps Lead with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and enterprise networking. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering hybrid-cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern DevOps practices. This role will be instrumental in shaping cloud roadmaps, enhancing CI/CD capabilities, and ensuring resilient, secure, and scalable cloud services within an enterprise banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of hybrid-cloud platforms and automated API-driven systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Shape and influence GCP technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
  • Design, build, and release cloud-native services in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using cloud-native and third-party tools.
  • Manage and resolve enterprise-level network connectivity incidents and problems.
  • Review and provide feedback on code changes to maintain engineering standards.
  • Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with enterprise security and control requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to adopt emerging technologies and cloud-based innovations.
  • Ensure services are resilient, cost-optimized, scalable, and production-ready.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proven experience in DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in: Git, Terraform / Terraform Cloud, HashiCorp Vault, Jenkins, Harness.
  • Experience designing and delivering Hybrid Cloud architectures.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Experience managing enterprise networking connectivity issues.
  • Experience working in regulated enterprise environments (Banking/Financial Services preferred).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and business stakeholders.
  • Technology-agnostic mindset with strong problem-solving capability.
