Role will need to be filled in Edinburgh, as the candidate will need to work in UK hours / into the evening on frequent occasions but also liaise closely with offshore LTC colleagues. We need someone to take ownership.
In terms of a replacement, we are looking for a candidate who can lead a team of performance testers, but also be fully hands-on and lead by example. They will need extensive knowledge of:
- Performance tools / monitoring: LRE, Gatling, Splunk, JMeter, Dynatrace, Workload modelling
- Operating Systems: GCP, OCPz
- Complex mainframe / server / microservices knowledge and ability to analyse, debug and propose enhancements to both code and infrastructure
Prior experience of Lloyds Banking Group products in the retail / commercial sector is preferred. The candidate will need to operate at multiple levels, from assembling findings and presenting to senior stakeholders (TPL / BPL level), to mentoring junior members of the team. They must quickly respond to complex problems from multiple stakeholders both within and outside of the Digital Services platform and will be expected to work with minimal guidance to fulfil their duties.
A good candidate should have:
- Performance Testing (LRE/JMeter/Gatling)
- OpenShift/OCP
- Dynatrace or Splunk
- SRE/Troubleshooting
- GCP/Cloud exposure
- Team Lead experience
- Banking domain preferred
