We are seeking skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Container Drivers to join our team. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest level of professionalism and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a commercial vehicle, transporting containers from port to addresses in the UK
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and inform on-site fitters of any issues
  • Communicate effectively with planners, customers, and team members
  • Complete necessary paperwork, such as PODs and daily inspection reports

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience as a HGV Class 1 Driver
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
  • Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid and up-to-date Driver CPC and Tacho Cards
  • Preferably have a Southampton Port ID card already but can put the driver through if required
