Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Depot Manager based at the Purfleet location. The Depot Manager will oversee daily operations, which includes planning, driver management and recruitment, fleet utilisation, being a point of contact for sub-contractors, and being responsible for on-boarding new sub-contractors while ensuring a high level of customer service. Responsibilities include managing a team to meet planning performance targets, fleet utilisation targets, and efficiently overseeing the depot's activities to meet operational objectives. The role also involves collaborating with multiple departments to ensure seamless workflow.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Planning is a must.
  • Strong Team Management skills and the ability to lead and motivate staff to meet performance targets.
  • Proficiency in Customer Service to ensure smooth communication and satisfaction for stakeholders and clients.
  • Knowledgeable in Health and Safety regulations.
