What You’ll Do
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will act as the client expert within your geo‑market, working closely with regional leadership and internal consulting and technology teams to shape market strategy and close complex deals. Your role will include:
- Meeting or exceeding annual personal sales (order intake) targets
- Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline (≥3x annual target)
- Identifying, qualifying, structuring and closing large, multi‑disciplinary consulting and technology opportunities
- Applying a diagnostic sales approach to understand client challenges and position high‑value, integrated solutions
- Leading cross‑functional internal teams (technical, commercial, legal) to develop tailored proposals
- Driving the integration of technology/software sales within consulting engagements
- Developing and maintaining senior‑level relationships with key client stakeholders
- Representing KBC at industry events and building a strong external professional network
- Negotiating complex commercial agreements to achieve win‑win outcomes
- Maintaining accurate data and opportunity reporting within KBC’s CRM
- Acting as a role model for collaboration, customer focus, and policy compliance
- Contributing as a subject matter expert, staying current on industry, regulatory and market developments
What You Bring
We’re seeking a senior sales professional with strong commercial judgement, credibility at executive level, and a proven ability to deliver results in complex environments.
Core Experience & Expertise
- Proven track record of selling high‑value, complex, integrated solutions
- Strong experience in refining, petrochemical, chemical or adjacent process industries
- Demonstrable success in consulting and/or technology‑enabled sales
- Deep understanding of sales processes, opportunity management and deal structuring
- Experience working in the European and sub‑Saharan markets with strong cultural awarenessAbility to operate independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
- Confident presenter and trusted advisor at senior/executive client level
Education & Background
- Chemical Engineering degree (preferred) or equivalent technical background
- Strong technical and commercial acumen
- Fluency in English (additional languages beneficial depending on region)
