What You’ll Do
- Act as the client expert within your geo‑market, working closely with regional leadership and internal consulting and technology teams to shape market strategy and close complex deals.
- Meet or exceed annual personal sales (order intake) targets.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline (≥3x annual target).
- Identify, qualify, structure and close large, multi‑disciplinary consulting and technology opportunities.
- Apply a diagnostic sales approach to understand client challenges and position high‑value, integrated solutions.
- Lead cross‑functional internal teams (technical, commercial, legal) to develop tailored proposals.
- Drive the integration of technology/software sales within consulting engagements.
- Develop and maintain senior‑level relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Represent KBC at industry events and build a strong external professional network.
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements to achieve win‑win outcomes.
- Maintain accurate data and opportunity reporting within KBC’s CRM.
- Act as a role model for collaboration, customer focus, and policy compliance.
- Contribute as a subject matter expert, staying current on industry, regulatory and market developments.
What You Bring
We’re seeking a senior sales professional with strong commercial judgement, credibility at executive level, and a proven ability to deliver results in complex environments.
Core Experience & Expertise
- Proven track record of selling high‑value, complex, integrated solutions.
- Strong experience in refining, petrochemical, chemical or adjacent process industries.
- Demonstrable success in consulting and/or technology‑enabled sales.
- Deep understanding of sales processes, opportunity management and deal structuring.
- Experience working in the European and sub‑Saharan markets with strong cultural awareness.
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Confident presenter and trusted advisor at senior/executive client level.
Education & Background
- Chemical Engineering degree (preferred) or equivalent technical background.
- Strong technical and commercial acumen.
- Fluency in English (additional languages beneficial depending on region).
